Aged 43,started working at the age of 17 and founded the Refex Group in 2002.Refex started as a manufacturer of Refrigerant Gases and revolutionised the industry by launching retail sized cans,when all other manufacturers offered 10 Kgs cylinders and above.Solar EPC,which was a fledging business in 2007,we had the foresight to jump onto that bandwagon to capitalise on it early on.Today the group has executed almost 1000 MW of projects across the country making onto the lists of the prominent EPC contractors in the country.We have now acquired SunEdison with a focus on Distributed Solar Business both in Rural and Urban areas of India and spread our wings globally soon.We have close to 250Mw of Rooftop under development more than 25,000+ Installation of Distributed Solar Project to our kitty currently.Our aim is to make Solar Power affordable for all and make it a Consumer product.Only Distributed Renewable Energy Generation and Consumption will only reduce the Carbon Footprint globally.Refex Capital is Investment arm set up as a SEBI Approved AIF and has invested in 26 startups across the industry verticals from Health Care to Clean tech and has committed to invest a total of 200 Crores in various Start ups.We bring in the operational experience,deep understanding of the market and business strategies to the startups and help them succeed in their endeavors.In addition,We have started a technology focused incubation centre in Chennai for startups who will become next Googles and Facebooks of India.
