An alumnus of IIT Delhi,Nipun launched his first venture in college when he started a medical tourism company. After working for a few months in the sector, he saw the bigger problem of inefficient digital health communication, which led to Curofy. Today,Curofy is India's largest community of verified doctors.Over 400,000 doctors from 2500+ cities of India are using it to discuss patient cases with their peers to provide an extremely quick and better diagnosis to their patients. Curofy is satisfying their hunger for knowledge and better outcomes.In this process, it is creating a huge supply of digital doctors. Nipun exited Curofy after successfully selling it to a US-based company in an all-cash deal. Prior to starting up Curofy, Nipun worked with Rothschild India where he handled mergers and acquisitions across various business services industries including IT, logistics, transportation etc. While in college, he also helped a college start-up to scale by leading a team of 200 members across 20 colleges.Winner of IIT Delhi Alumni Award for innovation in 2014, Nipun is regularly invited at various summits and events to talk about entrepreneurship, digital healthcare, and future of social networking. Some of the past ones include IIT Kanpur eSummit 2018, Google Launchpad SF 2017, Vivatech Paris 2017,Medtech Investing London 2016 and CII Conclave on NextGen Healthcare 2015.He often writes about entrepreneurship and social networks and has written guest columns in YourStory, TechCircle, ET Health, VcCircle, Business World and CNN IBN.Nipun is passionate about tapping the power of social media to make the process of community collaboration easier and likes to interact with various community managers.
