As senior partner, and a founding senior partner of McKinsey's locations in Chennai and Bangalore, I co-lead our Operations Practice in India and Asia and previously led the Firm's Social Sector Practice in Asia.I have led multiple projects to assess and help realize the full potential of India's manufacturing and infrastructure sectors, in collaboration with leading industry associations.I have led a major McKinsey knowledge initiative on global trends in sourcing manufactured goods from low-cost countries, identifying effective responses for companies in both developed and emerging economies.In my client work,I support large companies in shaping strategy, building operational excellence, and strengthening their organizations. For example,I have developed 5-year growth strategies for several major businesses in the civil, infrastructure, concessions and heavy manufacturing sectors and have also designed and implemented a multi-year growth and operational-excellence program for a manufacturing conglomerate.A key focus of my work is on building leadership and talent through long-term partnerships with my clients. Outside McKinsey,I actively contribute to non-profit organizations in the education and disability fields.I serve on the boards of the Pratham Education Foundation and the Pratham Skills Institute; and on the Board of Management of Krea University.
